Job description

Could you be our next Telemetry Registered at Main Line Health?
U.S. News & World Report has released its 2022-2023 Best Hospital rankings, and once more, Main Line Health has been recognized among the very best. You're invited to come and be a part of a thriving work culture at Bryn Mawr or Paoli Hospital . We are in a community near you!
Why join us as a Registered Nurse?
There's a reason that over 31% of our team has been here for 10+ years! If you were to ask them why, they'd first say the people. Then talk about the above and beyond benefits we offer such as:
• An award-winning culture (Great place to work, LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Top Performer, Diversity in Management, and more!)
• Pension ( income set for life! ) and 403(b) retirement savings.
• 6 weeks of vacation days per year (200 hours).
• Our career path for RNs gives you the flexibility to make your own path. That can be into different shifts, specialties, lead, and management roles. We offer tuition reimbursement ( $6,000 per year based on your full- or part-time status) to help you grow to your full potential.
• World-class wellness program to support your physical and emotional well-being.
• Scheduling app that gives you the option to pick up or offer up shifts as you need
• Family-focused benefits like fertility & adoption assistance and parental leave.
• Free parking and no city wage tax (if living outside of city perimeters).
Why work as a Telemetry Registered Nurse within our Health System?
Make an Impact! As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working within this unit, your care and treatment of our patients is an integral part of their overall experience. Our Telemetry units are paired with specialties so we can focus on our patients' needs, based on their diagnosis.
  • Telemetry / Step Down unit - caring for a patient population either coming from or going to the ICU setting. High acuity patients and low RN to patio ratios allow for quality care and the development of skills. This unit is ideal for any candidate ready to take the next step toward critical care.
  • Clinical Decision Unit - looking for a diverse patient population to build your clinical skills and find a specialty that may be your calling? On the CDU, you will work with patients from the ER and will learn a range of skills to help take care of our patients. This unit can also help you take the next step in your nursing leadership career since you will be exposed to all areas of the hospital and gain the knowledge to help the hospital function seamlessly.
  • Telemetry/Oncology unit - a full unit with a certified oncology focus. Hospice care is also offered in this unit to tend to patient needs. Drip/IV skills are taught and all nurses on this unit can become certified in oncology, paid in full by MLH.
  • Telemetry/Cardiac unit - is your heart in cardiac care? This unit is for you! You would have the ability to rotate to the area of the hospital that cares for our community's 75+ population. Help us educate our patients on how to care for themselves and their loved ones from congestive heart failure, stroke, and other cardiac procedures.
  • Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Orthopedic unit - a strong mix of experience in general admissions, telemetry, and orthopedic recovery care.

Develop and Grow Your Career! Be one of the many Main Line Health Registered Nurses who pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees (BSN, MSN, MBA, Ph.D., DNP) by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement Program! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based on your Full or Part Time status.
Get Involved! Become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
Join the Team! Like our patients, the Main Line Health Family encompasses a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Just as each of our patients requires a personalized care plan, each of our employees, physicians, and volunteers, brings distinctive talents to Main Line Health. Regardless of our unique design, we all share a common purpose: providing superior service and care.
