Job description

Petersheim Brothers, is a growing company & is hiring for a well driller within our geotechnical and water well division. The ideal candidates should have the following experience:


Experience:

  • Water well drilling experience or 5 years as a drilling assistant; preferred
  • Experience must include geotechnical, environmental and/or water well drilling
  • Exhibit safe work practices, be dependable, and able to work in various environmental conditions
  • Able to professionally work with customers, engineers/geologists, and other contractors
  • Full-time with overtime availability
  • Possess good mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Good communication skills, including verbal, written, and basic math skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CDL preferred, but not required


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the Mobilization of drilling equipment as directed
  • Perform drilling services and well installations by operating equipment and using conventional drilling techniques
  • Keep accurate drill records of drilling activities
  • Manage field assistants
  • Performs and assists with maintenance and cleaning of rigs, vehicles, equipment and work area
  • Inspects rig and associated equipment daily to ensure safe and proper working conditions
  • Engages in other related activities and special projects as may be required or assigned
  • The employee will experience as much as if not more than 60% of field time. Some projects may require overnight travel on occasion


Job Type: Full-time

Salary:$32.00 - $36.00 per hour with overtime & bonus potential
