As a geotechnical driller, you will be drilling to conduct subsurface investigations to gather soil and rock samples for analysis in engineering and construction projects.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain drill and other equipment
  • Setting up drills at job sites
  • Operating drill as well as vehicle
  • Site investigations
  • Producing logs, records, rig inspections, and vehicle inspections
  • Reporting any issues to the supervisor/manager
  • Any other task requested by the supervisor/ manager 


Job Skills & Requirements

  • Love and enjoy working outdoors.
  • Great communication skills.
  • 1+ years of geotechnical drilling experience
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Must be a self-starter, reliable, and come with a good and humble attitude
  • Attention to detail.
  • Possess time management and organizational skills
  • Clean MVR, background, and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Construction experience (Preferred, not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
