DRIs are commonly used in tech companies like Apple to ensure clear responsibility. Clarifying the context or industry may help provide a more accurate answer.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Driver, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Driver, you need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and thorough knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, vehicle maintenance basics, and sometimes specific certifications like a CDL (for commercial drivers) are typically required. Reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills set top drivers apart in this role. These attributes are crucial to ensure passenger safety, timely deliveries, and effective interaction with clients or dispatchers.

What are some common challenges faced by a Driver and how can they be managed effectively?

Drivers often encounter challenges such as navigating heavy traffic, adhering to tight delivery schedules, and ensuring vehicle safety and maintenance. Effective time management, familiarity with navigation tools, and regular vehicle inspections can help mitigate these issues. Additionally, maintaining clear communication with dispatchers and clients is crucial for handling unexpected delays or route changes. Building these habits can make daily operations smoother and improve overall job satisfaction.

Job description

Business Continuity Analyst
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Business Continuity Analyst with a leading legal firm known for its scale, innovation, and commitment to operational resilience.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a multi-year modernization initiative within a well-resourced environment. The successful candidate will focus on executing business continuity and disaster recovery work, providing low-touch, independent support in a builder's environment.
Responsibilities
  • Executing Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and translating findings into recovery priorities
  • Building and maintaining Business Continuity plans, and supporting Disaster Recovery plans from an IT lens
  • Planning, building, and running tabletop exercises and capturing outcomes
  • Recovery planning, testing, and validation: confirming plans and processes actually work as intended
  • Building program collateral from a platform and tooling perspective
  • Owning documentation end to end: decision logs, defect logs, and requirements traceability

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of BCM/GRC experience with a builder/operator mindset (execution over advising)
  • Hands-on experience executing BIAs and building BC plans
  • Disaster Recovery experience from an IT lens (helpful, less required)
  • Experience building or running tabletop exercises, impact analysis, and recovery planning
  • Testing and validation experience: less about specific technical depth, more about knowing the process and confirming things work correctly
  • Strong documentation rigor, including ownership of decision logs, defect logs, and requirements traceability
  • Standard experience with ServiceNow and CMDB
  • Fluent in Microsoft 365 tools
  • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, able to provide low-touch program support
  • Strong writer
  • DRI certification (e.g., ABCP, Associate Business Continuity Professional) or comparable BC credential is a plus
