Overview

Pape-Dawsonโ€™s Miramar Beach office, established by the acquisition of Innerlight Engineering, is staffed by a team of experienced professionals who provide high-quality land development services throughout the Florida panhandle. The Land Development team is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Miramar Beach, Florida office.

Responsibilities
  • Overall supervision of land development projects for contractual conformity, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead and mentor a dynamic group of technical professionals (engineers and technicians).
  • Prepare proposals and client agreements.
  • Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.
  • Coordinate project tasks, budgets, and schedules to respect client timelines.
  • Champion the professional development of each member of a project team.
  • Lead and actively participate in design, plan production, and permitting for land development projects.
  • Participate in the development of company design and production standards.
  • Remain open to new ways of accomplishing goals.
  • Seek guidance from other leaders and incorporate suggestions in project management practices.
  • Give back to the community by active participation in professional associations and civic organizations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an ABETโ€‘accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
  • 10+ years of experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion, including estimating costs of technical tasks in land development.
  • Experience in the panhandle market preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices.
  • Proven ability to identify new opportunities with existing clients and to develop new client partnerships.
