Description

The Machine Operator positions are responsible for operating the Wire Draw machines, Plating lines and/or our Overhead Cranes. Productively and producing material within specification. This person is also responsible for changeovers, troubleshooting, and general housekeeping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate machines efficiently an accurately
  • Ability to do quality checks, read a tape measure, and check straightness
  • Operate a forklift
  • Operate an overhead crane
  • Ability to complete production report at the end of the shift
  • Understand, maintain, and perform work according to quality and environmental standards
  • Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
  • Follow established company rules and regulations and safety precautions
  • Work hours assigned including overtime as required
  • Operate a mobile welder
  • Operate various hand tools
