Founded in 2000, Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. is a privately owned, full-service national lender, offering Wholesale, Correspondent, Renovation and Reverse residential mortgages. Headquartered in San Diego, California, Plaza employs a network of sales associates to serve its clients nationwide.
Plaza is dedicated to building quality, long-term relationships with its mortgage broker and correspondent clients by offering comprehensive programs and exceptional customer experience.

This position is responsible for managing the release of draws for renovation projects on 203k, HomeStyle, CHOICE, USDA, VA Standard and Limited loans by reviewing draw and change requests, verifying documents such as lien waivers, invoices and inspection reports. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with budgets, project scope, coordinating with lenders, contractors, and inspectors. This position requires strong administrative and customer service skills.

Job Duties:

• Provide professional support to all stakeholders.
• Review, process and track renovation draw and change requests as well as all incoming and outgoing communication
• Verify lien waivers, insurance, invoices and other required paperwork.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets
• Balance renovation budget to accounting budgets to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with borrowers, contractors, third-party vendors and inspectors and internal partners.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of renovation processes, loan products and basic accounting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and analytical/problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Office
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience with renovation or construction required
• Minimum 1 year experience customer service experience required
• Ability to handle 15-20 phone calls a day preferred
• 6 months mortgage servicing experience preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Work Environment: This is a remote position.

Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$24.00 - $30.00
This position is full-time; non-exempt.
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
