Job description

We are currently seeking a CDL Drag Driver. Previous experience hauling heavy equipment and a Class A license is required. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the construction industry, heavy equipment operation / hauling, and have a clean driving record.
Class A CDL Drag Driver Responsibilities:
Commercial Driving & Equipment Transport:
  • Skilled in operating and transporting heavy equipment safely to and from various job sites and locations.
  • Possesses a valid CDL license with a clean driving record and demonstrated knowledge of drag or flatbed equipment handling.
  • DOT Compliance & Safety Regulations:
  • Strong understanding of and compliance with all applicable state and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and regulations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to regulatory updates to ensure legal and safe transport.

Documentation & Recordkeeping:
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and up-to-date driver logs and trip records in compliance with DOT requirements.
  • Capable of completing and managing vehicle inspections, safety checks, and ensuring proper placards are in place when applicable.

Vehicle & Equipment Safety:
  • Detail-oriented in performing routine inspections of vehicles and safety equipment.
  • Committed to identifying and addressing mechanical or safety issues before and during operation.

Time Management & Reliability:
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely equipment delivery and pick-up.
  • Self-motivated and dependable with a strong commitment to punctuality and job completion.

Class A CDL Drag Driver Qualifications:
  • Previous experience hauling heavy equipment
