  • Days and hours of work are Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
OVERVIEW
DSLD Homes, LLC is a residential home builder with a collaborative, design-focused work environment. Our team values learning, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving. Weโ€™re looking for an entry-level Draftsperson whoโ€™s interested in growing their skills, working closely with experienced designers, and contributing to the plans that shape our homes and communities.
As a Draftsperson at DSLD Homes, youโ€™ll play a hands-on role in shaping the look and feel of our homes. Your work will help bring real communities to life.
JOB DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Update existing home plans as features and specs evolve
  • Help reduce construction costs through smart, thoughtful design changes
  • Prepare clean, polished floor plans for sales brochures
  • Join plan reviewers and field teams on job sites to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain and modify construction drawings
  • Match home footprints to specific lots in new neighborhoods
  • Create Photoshop renderings used in marketing materials
  • Jump in on additional design support tasks as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS amp; SKILLS
  • Adobe Photoshop experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Revit preferred
  • A mix of creative talent and analytical thinking
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with designers, builders, and other team members
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
