Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a forward-thinking, Native American-owned, multi-disciplinary consulting firm? Akana is seeking a Drafter to join our team.
This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will reside near Seattle, Portland, or Las Vegas; some in-office days may be required. Travel to job sites may be required periodically as well.

The Drafterwill be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software.
What You Will Do:
È Work with engineers, designers and project managers to complete modeling tasks, create views and sheets, and produce documents for QC purposes as well as deliverables
È Keep track of multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines
È Coordinate and collaborate with other consultants through BIM Collaboration software when required, all while maintaining model integrity and quality
Requirements
Minimum Required Key Qualifications:
È 5 years demonstrated experience with REVIT and AutoCAD, in a drafting or design role on MEP systems.
È Ability to collaborate with others and solve problems
È Make decisions based on designs
È Strong communication skills and attention to detail
È Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
È Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions
È Flexibility in methods and a strong desire to learn is encouraged
