Job description


We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Drafting Technician to join our team at Blew & Associates, P.A. In this role, you will prepare accurate and precise technical drawings for various engineering and construction projects. You will work closely with surveyor project managers, quality control managers, and other team members to ensure that project requirements are met and designs are executed effectively. If you have a strong aptitude for drafting and are proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Convert rough sketches, calculations, and specifications into detailed technical drawings
  • Prepare plans, layouts, and detailed drawings for projects
  • Collaborate with surveying professionals to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of designs
  • Make necessary adjustments to drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drawings
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of all drawings and revisions
  • Stay updated on the latest drafting and design software and techniques

Requirements
