Position Summary
Our tax internship offers hands-on experience assisting with tax preparation and various tax projects for clients across multiple industries. Interns will work closely with experienced tax professionals and gain exposure to our tax systems, processes, and workflow from start to finish.
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing federal and state tax returns for individuals and/or business entities
• Assist in preparation of extension calculation and estimated tax vouchers
• Organize and input financial information into tax software
• Prepare workpapers and support schedules
• Review tax return drafts and make updates based on team feedback
• Work within firm processes to track and manage return progress
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workflow discussions
• Learn how tax returns move through our process from initial documents to final filing
• Opportunities to shadow Staff/Senior Associates, Managers, and Partners in meetings, etc
• Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all team members
• Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct
• Identifying and carrying out other projects, as assigned

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or taxation
• Strong communication skills - able to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate with the team
• Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (or eager to develop skills)
• Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting with motivation to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
