  •  Design power systems for a variety of major detailed engineering projects for low- to high-voltage grids, produce engineering deliverables such as electrical plans and diagrams, and participate in protective relay programming
  •  Draft technical specifications, calculation notes, estimates and study reports
  •  Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines to ensure quality design
  •  Participate in various system studies such as power flow, harmonics and transients
  •  Participate in protection and arc flash studies
  •  Help with various project management tasks, including schedule and cost monitoring
  •  Perform site surveys and site monitoring during the construction phase
  •  Participate in pre-operational verifications and commissioning of electrical equipment
  •  Participate in modernizing existing power grid protection systems to protect individuals and equipment in case of failure
  • Propose solutions to mitigate various engineering issues and provide feedback on those proposed by your colleagues
