Precast Product Solutions is looking for an Architecture / Drafting Intern and gain hands-on experience in the construction and fabrication industry. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on real-world projects, transforming conceptual ideas and sketches into detailed, reviewable shop drawings and submittals. Interns will develop practical skills in drafting, design software, and construction documentation, while contributing to projects that have a tangible impact. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to apply their classroom knowledge in a supportive environment and see their work come to life in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Create and revise shop drawings based on project plans, specifications, and dimensions.
  • Convert hand sketches and concepts into accurate, scaled digital drawings.
  • Prepare drawings and documentation for project submittals.
  • Develop detailed drawings for fabrication and construction using provided information.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from project managers and engineers.
  • Organize and maintain project drawings and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and fabrication teams to gather necessary information.
  • Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction plans.
  • Learn and adhere to company drafting standards and project requirements.
  • Assist with other drafting and project-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
