Drafting / Design Engineer – High-Impact, Mission‑Driven ProjectsLancaster, PA

Bring your engineering expertise to projects that matter. We’re looking for a Design Engineer to lead the design and integration of advanced architectural and perimeter security systems for high‑profile, specification‑driven projects. Emphasis on Doors, Windows, and Glass Enclosures.

In this role, you’ll turn complex requirements into build‑ready designs, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with stringent security and performance standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Create project-specific conceptual and detailed designs for window, door, and façade systems
  • Integrate products into spec-driven submittals and construction documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external engineers, and project stakeholders
  • Guide and collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams
  • Ensure compliance 

What You Bring

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Engineering degree (Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, or Civil) with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read architectural/engineering drawings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Revit/Fusion 360 a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%)
