POSITION INFO:

POSITION TITLE:  Electrician 3rd Shift  
DEPARTMENT/CATEGORY:  Cost center 730
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Stuarts Draft, VA  24477

PERFORMANCE SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining electrical systems and controls in support of the manufacturing processes throughout the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

   Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems and controls
   Occasional design and build of new systems
   Occasional modifications and upgrades to older systems
   Prioritize workload with area managers to maintain maximum throughput
   Perform all duties safely and follow all safety guidelines
   Participate in safety programs as needed
   Maintain excellent housekeeping
   Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial power and control systems

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required
Vocational training or Associates degree relating to industrial power

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

   Proficient at PLC, Analog and Digital programming
   Proficient with Motors, VFD's, breakers, starters, relays, etc.
   Proficient with Technical drawings and documentation
   Analytical skills
   Strong customer orientation
   Strong verbal and written communication skills
   Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook
   Time Management
   Acceptable attendance record per hiring and job transfer policies
   Ability to understand and follow all applicable safety policies
   Ability to understand and follow standard work practices
