We're hiring a Drafter to join County Materials in Astatula, Florida
Job Summary:
The Drafter designs products to be manufactured or quoted using CAD software based on information provided in project plans and specifications. This role supports design, estimating, and production teams by creating accurate drawings that ensure projects are properly planned, approved, and executed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform daily tasks related to CAD-based drafting and product design.
Prepare design and production drawings, details, sketches, and routine layouts.
Use computer-aided estimating software to assist in preparing quotations and finalizing drawings.
Coordinate, review, and approve shop drawings with customers.
Distribute approved shop drawings to production teams.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
Support team operations across design, estimating, and production.
Assist with infrequent or special drafting or project-related tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
