Job description

Seeking a skilled and safety-minded heavy equipment operator. The role will include operating various heavy machinery to support construction projects, with safety, and precision being of top priority. This position will give you the opportunity to work on various earthwork, utilities, and flatwork projects as well as building construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform grading, excavation, lifting, and material handling tasks utilizing dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery.

• Manage concrete mixers and farm machinery as needed for various construction activities.

• Provide advice on equipment selection on various projects.

• Oversee proper care and maintenance of equipment in possession. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.

• Assist with cleanup activities to support project timelines.

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Skilled verifiable experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.

• Valid US driver’s license

• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

• Knowledge of construction processes including earthmoving, site grading and utility installation.
