Assistant Superintendent

Doyle Construction Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a construction professional who is looking to develop management skills, deepen construction knowledge across various sectors and contribute to delivering quality projects to our clients.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Team to support the day-to-day field operations of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Superintendent with daily management of jobsite operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Support project scheduling and help maintain project milestones.
  • Conduct regular site walks to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Help identify and resolve field issues before they impact project progress.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, photographs, and field logs.
  • Participate in subcontractor coordination meetings and project planning sessions.
  • Verify work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.
  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, design teams, inspectors, subcontractors, and fellow team members.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of construction experience.
  • Experience in field operations, project coordination, or supervision is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
