Job description

.NET Developer to lead the migration of their TXMAP codebase from .NET Xamarin to .NET MAUI.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensure the code adheres to .NET MAUI standards and architecture
  • Implement unit, integration, and regression testing to validate migrated app functions

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

  • 8+ years of .NET and MS Visual Studio experience
  • 1+ year of mobile development experience for iOS or Android

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

  • Experience with a TX State Agency
  • Experience with .NET Xamarin and .NET MAUI

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI, enabling the Department's TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning.
