Job Summary:
The .NET Lead will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies and modern software engineering practices. The role combines hands-on .NET development with technical leadership, solution architecture, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, DevOps, and AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building enterprise-scale web applications and APIs, driving CI/CD and secure coding practices, and evaluating emerging technologies. Healthcare and enterprise application experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and DevOps.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and AI-driven development tools to improve productivity.
• Support Agile development practices, continuous improvement, and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience using .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Web API development.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-scale web applications and services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Sybase.
• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and modern source control practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to Angular and modern front-end development frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with Specification-Driven Development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Agent Framework and Agentic AI solution development.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized application deployments.
• Experience in healthcare or enterprise application domains.
• Experience with Agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
