Donations involve individuals giving money or resources directly to a nonprofit or charity, often through online or direct methods. Fundraisers actively organize events or campaigns to encourage donations from the public. While donations are the act of giving, fundraisers focus on creating opportunities and strategies to generate those donations. Both roles are essential in nonprofit funding but differ in responsibilities and activities.
