Job description

Introduction: All delivery Driver Helper are full time. Driver Helper deliver products to a wide variety of customers. Major responsibilities for drivers helper are: unloading product (by hand with 2 wheel dolly), and customer service.

Essential Duties: The following duties are essential functions of what drivers can expect as an I Supply Company delivery driver helper.

  • Deliver products to our customers on assigned routes. Driver Helpers unload entire trailer (up to 1300 cases) by hand with a two-wheel dolly walking product down a ramp out of the trailer and into the customer facility.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service. This includes but is not limited to correcting problems, providing customer with their order quickly, on time and placed in the proper area undamaged.
  • Communicate quickly, clearly and precisely on all customer service issues between I Supply and our clients.
  • Complete all necessary forms legibly and on a timely basis.
  • Driver Helpers must be available for overnight routes (routes generally range from 10 36 hours long), some routes requiring weekend work.
  • Understand, embrace and encourage the fulfillment of our Mission Statement with all associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

The following are minimal qualifications that our applicants will need to meet.

  • High School diploma preferred or GED accepted.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and physical.
  • Available to work weekends and travel on overnight routes.
  • Ability to read and complete various forms and records as required.
  • Drivers must be able to conduct themselves in an appropriate business manner at all times under all conditions with customers, general public and co-workers.

Physical Demands:

  • Conduct a great deal of physical work in all types of weather conditions from very warm to very cold temperatures.
  • Walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs.), bending reaching, twisting, driving and walking a loaded (250-500lbs.) dolly down a 20 foot ramp and into customer location.
  • Ability to do all the above with multiple replications (up to 1300 cases per load) over a minimum of an 8 hour period.
  • Warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors and a diversity from very warm to very cold temperatures.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to

perform the essential functions.
