Job description

Job Description: Position Objective
Provide back up support for the service and rental departments for both the Wharton and Bay Shore locations. In addition this role is tasked with entering part orders into the NDS database taking the sale from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities:
โ€ข Planning, organizing, administering, directing and controlling parts distribution operations in order to assure efficient and profitable utilization of manpower, facilities, equipment and funds
โ€ข Meeting and exceeding facility key measurements to insure profitability and future growth
โ€ข Providing superior customer service and achieving operational excellence while staying ahead of the competition.
โ€ข Assist warehouse operations, including receiving, stock keeping, physical inventories & cycle counts and shipping when required
โ€ข Support service and warranty functions by ordering and/or sourcing parts, services and supplies
โ€ข Will handle A/R collection on past due invoices and will document notes in CRM for Sales
โ€ข Assist with parts order for the Bay Shore location and call
โ€ข Will assist with Service Department unit drop off
โ€ข Assist in identifying and selling obsolete/overstock inventory
Requirements:
โ€ข Experience working in a heavy equipment or truck dealership environment, specifically in the parts area
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize and motivate
โ€ข in a high-performance work environment to achieve established goals while maintaining respect for people and our customers
โ€ข Proven track record of customer focus
โ€ข Ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems
โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills (listening, verbal and written)
โ€ข Knowledge of parts distribution procedures
โ€ข Working knowledge of Word, Excel, etc. Ability to learn our NDS software.
โ€ข Knowledge of parts aftermarket
โ€ข The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
