A typical day in dog watching often involves walking dogs, feeding them according to their scheduled routines, providing companionship, and supervising playtime to ensure their safety. You’ll frequently communicate with pet owners via text, phone, or specialized apps to provide updates and address any concerns. The role may include managing multiple dogs at once, adapting to various personalities, and handling basic clean-up. Each assignment can vary depending on client needs, but flexibility and a love for animals are key components of most days. Many dog watchers also have opportunities to expand their services, like training or overnight care, as they gain experience.

You don't mind being on your feet all day, walking constantly, and working outside in Texas weather. You're reliable — we're counting on you to show up, especially since weekends are a regular part of this role.
