What is a dog walker?

Dog walkers are individuals hired to take dogs out for walks, ensuring they get exercise, bathroom breaks, and social interaction while their owners are away or busy. Their responsibilities can include walking one or more dogs at a time, feeding them, and sometimes providing basic training or care. Dog walkers often work independently or through pet care services and need to be comfortable handling different dog breeds and temperaments. This job is ideal for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and have flexible schedules.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a dog walker?

These abilities ensure the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of both the dogs and their owners, fostering trust and repeat business.
