We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations.

Duties

  • Perform grooming services including trimming, full grooms, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs.
  • Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention.
  • Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dog grooming is required.
  • Skills in heavy lifting to manage larger breeds safely during grooming.
  • Knowledge of dog handling techniques, dog training methods, and animal restraint practices is beneficial.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
