What is a dog model?

A Dog Model is a canine that participates in photo shoots, commercials, films, or live events to showcase products, brands, or artistic concepts. These dogs are trained to follow commands, pose, and sometimes perform tricks to capture the desired shots. Dog models are often used in advertisements for pet products, fashion brands, or entertainment projects. Owners typically work with agencies or directly with brands to secure modeling opportunities for their pets.

The job can be dynamic, with days varying from short, local sessions to full-day shoots that require patience and adaptability. Collaboration with creative teams, animal trainers, and sometimes other animals is common. Successful Dog Models often have supportive handlers who are proactive in managing their needs and maximizing their performance opportunities.
