At Performance Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier service to our community in Ferriday and the surrounding areas. Our fast-paced Parts and Service departments are the backbone of our dealership, and we are looking for a reliable, motivated Department Porter to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Job Summary

As a Parts and Service Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency, cleanliness, and safety of our dealership. You will be responsible for keeping the shop and parts areas organized, assisting with parts inventory overflow, and handling local pickups and drop-offs. If you enjoy an active workplace where no two days are the same, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Facilities: Keep the shop, service bays, and parts departments clean, organized, and free of debris or hazards.

  • Parts Support: Assist the parts department with overflow tasks, including unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and stocking shelves.

  • Logistics & Driving: Handle local pickup and delivery of parts, and assist with dropping off or picking up customer vehicles or parts as needed.

  • Team Collaboration: Assist technicians, service advisors, and parts managers with miscellaneous tasks to ensure a smooth daily workflow.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (required).

  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and highly dependable.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods, and lift/move heavy parts or equipment (up to 50 lbs).

  • Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others in a bustling environment.

  • Experience: Previous dealership, shop, or warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
