Job Description
As a Security Officer DoD Security Clearance Full Time Patrol Driver in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-focused environment while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour
As part of our hiring process, we would like to remind you that an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is a requirement for this position. Verification of this clearance will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening process.   1. Alarm Panel Experience (B202): familiarity with alarm panel systems allows me to respond effectively to security alerts and manage emergency protocols.
  2. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):proficient in utilizing various software and applications, which enhances my ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  3. Customer Service Experience (B219): delivering exceptional customer service, understanding that effective communication and problem-solving are key to client satisfaction.
  4. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.
  5. CPR Certification (B205):
    Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification The certification must be current and not expired at the time of application.
  6. Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):A valid driver's license is mandatory for positions that require driving. Candidates must comply with the AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or hazards.
  • Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
