Job description

AMSG is seeking a Photographer/Videographer (Hybrid Shooter) to support the Armyโ€™s MEDCOM in providing communications support services through the development of precision program support for Army Medicine Outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education & Years of Experience: At a minimum, a bachelorโ€™s degree in photography or communications with six years of photography/videography experience.
  • Citizenship: US
  • Location: Washington DC & Remote
  • Start Date: 1 October 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to capture compelling photographs; be adept at videography to include post-product competencies that will engage users and create an interactive relationship with stakeholders.
  • Must be trained on and use a contractor-furnished professional camera to capture high-resolution photographs and videos.
  • Should have the ability to capture, edit, and produce reel-type content on a cell phone camera and GoPro-like devices.
  • Thorough understanding of modern digital content development.
  • A good understanding of government regulations that pertain to the use of social media platforms.
