Project Manager / Estimator

Commercial Construction | Mixed-Use Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with 5โ€“7 years of commercial construction experience to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, client communication, and overall project execution.

The ideal candidate has experience managing mixed-use commercial construction projects, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality, collaboration, and accountability are valued.

Responsibilities

Estimating

  • Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and competitive bid estimates.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  • Assist with bid submissions and contract negotiations.

Project Management

  • Manage commercial construction projects from contract award through project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation using Procore.
  • Monitor project costs, schedule performance, and overall project profitability.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5โ€“7 years of experience in commercial construction project management and estimating.
  • Experience managing mixed-use commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proficiency using Procore for project management and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
  • Experience preparing estimates, managing budgets, and negotiating subcontractor pricing.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
