Job description

A well-established Irvine-based litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who enjoy practicing litigation, collaborating on case strategy, and working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The firm is open to attorneys from any civil litigation background and values strong litigators with excellent writing, discovery, and deposition experience over a specific practice area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
  • Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work product
  • Manage written discovery, subpoenas, and document review
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Participate in mediations, settlement discussions, and case strategy meetings
  • Collaborate closely with partners on litigation strategy and case development


Qualifications:

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong experience with pleadings, motion practice, legal research, discovery, and depositions
