Responsibilities/Qualifications
Drees Homes is seeking candidates for a Production Assistant - Accounts Payable position in our Midwest Division. In this position, you will perform accounts payable responsibilities and provide administrative/clerical support to the Operations and Production Departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Voucher all bills related to construction, marketing and general office expense payables in a timely manner.
  • Assist in monthly division payables review by running appropriate ledgers, pulling files and highlighting current month's invoices paid.
  • Maintain Change Order log and assign selected vendors to change order for workflow system communication.
  • Issue cancel/stop service requests to all applicable utility companies for all closed homes.
  • Review FPO Integrity Report weekly for any that are needing to be pushed through for payment and process accordingly.
  • Upload all applicable documents for change order to Job Docs in DreesBridge.
  • Assist other departments at the discretion and approval of the Operations Manager.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years accounts payable or account billing experience required
  • Production Builder experience is a plus
  • Must be organized, detail-minded and process oriented
  • Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel; JDE experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and/or experience with a homebuilder or subcontractor processes a plus
  • High school degree required; Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus

The schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
