Contract: 3 months with potential to extend and convert to a permanent position
Pay: $19.00–$21.00/hour


The Fountain Group is currently hiring a Legal Document Processing Specialist for a prominent client in the legal and business services industry. This is an onsite opportunity in Austin, TX.


Position Summary

The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately processing and tracking time-sensitive legal documents. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Review incoming documents and identify legal Service of Process (SOP) documents based on established standards.
  • Process Service of Process documents using internal systems and provide delivery instructions to receiving offices.
  • Scan and forward legal documents to clients accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate with internal offices and third-party vendors regarding document processing and delivery.
  • Track document delivery and confirm receipt with clients through email, phone, and FedEx tracking.
  • Respond to client questions regarding Service of Process documents and related account tools.
  • Update client account information as necessary.
  • Retrieve, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail and governmental agency correspondence.
  • Log client correspondence into the RASi management system and generate correspondence receipts.
  • Maintain accuracy while processing a large volume of time-sensitive documents.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret state and legal documents.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy while handling multiple responsibilities.
