This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

US Bank is seeking a Tungsten Intelligent Document Processing Engineer to join the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) organization. This team delivers enterprise-wide AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and document automation solutions that support business lines across the bank. The organization focuses on document extraction, workflow automation, document classification, intelligent routing, and process optimization initiatives using modern technologies including Tungsten, Azure, AI/ML, and Generative AI solutions.

This person will design, develop, enhance, and support Intelligent Document Processing solutions that automate the handling of complex business documents. They will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, build technical solutions, and deliver scalable applications that leverage Tungsten, C#/.NET, SQL, Azure, and AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience implementing production-grade document automation solutions and a passion for applying modern AI technologies to real-world business challenges.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions using Tungsten/Kofax or similar platforms.
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET and SQL technologies.
  • Build solutions focused on document extraction, classification, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise business applications.
  • Utilize Azure technologies and cloud-based platforms to support scalable solution delivery.
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven automation solutions across multiple business lines.
  • Contribute to emerging Generative AI and Intelligent Document Processing initiatives that improve operational efficiency and document intelligence capabilities.
Must Have Skills:
  • Hands-on Tungsten (formerly Kofax) development experience or experience with a closely related Intelligent Document Processing platform.
  • Strong C#/.NET development experience.
  • SQL/database development experience.
  • Experience building and supporting Intelligent Document Processing solutions.
  • Experience with document extraction, classification, workflow automation, and process optimization.
  • Experience working with Azure technologies and cloud-based platforms.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into business solutions.
  • Strong software engineering background with experience developing and supporting production applications.
  • Ability to work directly with business partners and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Approximately 3+ years of Tungsten/IDP-related experience.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience building, integrating, or supporting APIs.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies and enterprise AI use cases.
  • Experience designing or implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
  • Experience with additional Intelligent Document Processing platforms.
  • Familiarity with IBM DataCap.
  • Experience with unstructured document processing and intelligent workflow automation.
  • Experience developing AI-driven document comparison, classification, or extraction solutions.
  • Experience delivering AI/ML solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of modern AI architectures and emerging automation technologies.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
