Description

We are currently seeking an experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being of our patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at delivering high-quality care and promoting women's health.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine check-ups on patients to assess their reproductive health.
  • Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions and disorders.
  • Performing surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Providing prenatal care and monitoring the health of pregnant women.
  • Offering guidance and support to patients on family planning and contraception.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Keeping accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
  • Participating in educational programs and workshops for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice in New York.
  • Proven experience working as an Ob/Gyn physician.

Flexible Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Annual Volume: 6k deliveries

50% clinical, 50% administrative

48-bed Level III NICU

Team Structure: Laborists, generalists, midwives, MFM, PAs, residents

10+ years of post-residency/fellowship experience required

Previous leadership experience required

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
