To thrive as a Dock Stocker, you need physical stamina, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of inventory management, often requiring a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), pallet jacks, and forklifts—sometimes needing certification—is typically expected. During peak shipping seasons, Dock Stockers often experience heightened workloads, requiring efficient time management and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
