Job description

Warehouse Associate

Location: North Chicago, IL Timings: 5:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrate attention to detail; Demonstrate reliability and initiative; Safety focused.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments. Consistently reaching, bending, walking, standing, for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs constantly. Loud environment. Fast paced environment.
  • Steel toe shoes are required in the warehouse

Duties:

  • Will be performing warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock.
  • Performs warehouse operations on the receiving dock, picks orders, packs order and/or helps with dock processing.
  • Exposure to working in a quality and controlled material environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Distribution experience a plus; 3PL experience a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work history 2+ years in previous roles.
  • Forklift Certification/Experience a plus - Cherry pickers - Order pickers - Pacer/Dock stocker - Turret Trucks (working in heights) – Standup forklift.
