Job description

Forklift Operator

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Forklift Operators to support our distribution center located in Mt. Juliet, TN. As a Forklift Operator, you will be utilizing a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match and a monthly bonus opportunity!

Schedule and Compensation

1st Shift: Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour

Job Details

What to expect as a Forklift Operator:

  • Operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Willingness to be cross trained in different departments.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One-year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to work at various heights safely, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Ability to operate an electronic handheld scanner and tablet
  • Must be punctual with a demonstrated attendance record
  • Flexible to work overtime; including weekends
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
