The Dock Associate is responsible for loading and unloading freight efficiently while maintaining organization and safety on the dock. This position supports accurate and on-time deliveries through careful freight handling and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude, providing courteous and efficient service to all team members and customers.
  • Utilize knowledge of warehouse layout to access products efficiently.
  • Load and unload freight safely using appropriate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklift).
  • Use RF scanner for package tracking to ensure on-time, error-free delivery.
  • Accurately sort packages by customer and delivery routes.
  • Maintain safety and securityby following operational procedures and protocols.
  • Keep dock areas clean and organized to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Perform daily inspections for compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve dock operations and best practices.
  • Protect company assets and confidential information in accordance with policy.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a dock or warehouse associate.
