Job description

We are seeking an industrial maintenance professional to join the Maintenance Department in a growing manufacturing site housing a variety of manufacturing processes including CNC cutting/machining, web handling, automation, large format 3D printing, and extrusion. This hands-on role will be responsible for executing the preventive and reactive maintenance operations for both production equipment and facilities systems on a growing campus.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facilities equipment
  • Support production goals by working with production personnel to ensure the proper function of equipment post repair
  • Attend and complete training as required to ensure complete knowledge of equipment and systems facility wide
  • As directed by the maintenance lead, perform and document repair and preventive maintenance functions
  • Support a team-oriented atmosphere where no one says, "that's not my job"
  • In rare instances, this position may require overnight and weekend support

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Completion of trade school or apprenticeship program for core expertise area or three (3) years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Certification or experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic industrial systems
  • Proficiency in electrical and PLC troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred:
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems including PLC's

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Ability to regularly push/ pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to work in varying temperatures
  • Comfortable working around industrial equipment
