Job Purpose:

Make a difference in your community! You will be providing medical equipment services to the non-profit, community-based hospice serving the PSL area. This is an active delivery position and will require preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a delivery vehicle as well as installing medical equipment in the patient setting. After a training period, you will be able to successfully instruct patients and caregivers on how to properly and safely operate medical equipment to allow them to be more comfortable in their setting.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Guaranteed 40HRS

Up to two weeks a month paid on-call

Responsibilities and Duties:

Serves patients and their families with the highest quality care.

Properly loads and secures items for delivery.

Delivers items to patient home setting, maintaining a route.

Instructs patients and caregivers how to safely operate equipment.

Maintains safe operation by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards; as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.

Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
