Job Description We are seeking a Senior Python Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Django, REST APIs, MySQL, Linux, cloud platforms, and observability and a proven ability to improve platform reliability, enhance observability, automate operations, and drive incident response effectiveness. Responsibilities: Own reliability and operational health of the Quartz platform across Global Markets. Build and enhance internal tools to improve observability, diagnostics, and support workflows. Develop automation for infrastructure operations, CI/CD, and configuration management. Lead and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews. Partner with Quartz core teams on platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives. Harden production systems, reduce operational risk, and improve performance and scalability. Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and tracing using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong Python development experience, including Django and REST API development. Proficiency with MySQL and database schema design, tuning, and troubleshooting. Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting skills in large-scale production environments. Infrastructure engineering and automation background with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines. Observability and monitoring experience with Dynatrace. Knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and reliability patterns. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure and/or AWS, cloud migrations, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks. Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability stacks.
