What does a DJ host do?

A DJ host is responsible for playing and mixing music at events, clubs, radio shows, or parties while engaging with the audience to create an energetic and entertaining atmosphere. They choose and sequence tracks, take requests, and may also make announcements or introduce performers. DJ hosts often read the crowd to maintain a lively mood and ensure guests are enjoying themselves. Their role may also include managing sound equipment and collaborating with event organizers.
