About D-Ash Industrials

D-Ash Industrials is a growing, acquisition-driven industrial platform built on technical excellence, customer partnership, and continuous improvement. The Service Division provides CNC machine and industrial fluid management services to manufacturers across the aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, and general manufacturing sectors, delivered under our Fluid Service Technologies brand. Our technicians work on site at customer facilities and from mobile crews serving customers across multiple states.



About the Position

The Service Manager leads the Service Division and is responsible for how service work is delivered, staffed, and priced across every D-Ash Industrials brand. Reporting to the President, this individual manages the service leadership team and is accountable for delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and the financial performance of the division.


This is an operating leadership role. The Service Manager makes the decisions that determine how the business runs day to day, works directly with customers at the plant level, and leads a workforce that is largely dispersed across customer sited.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Service Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of all service work across the platform, both at customer facilities and through mobile crews
  • Set staffing levels and crew assignments to meet customer commitments
  • Maintain service quality and safety standards across all locations
  • Resolve escalated delivery and customer service issues


Customer Accounts

  • Maintain relationships with key customer contacts at the plant and management level
  • Approve pricing, scope, and staffing on new and renewing work
  • Support the sales organization on feasibility, scoping, and delivery planning for new opportunities
  • Manage contract renewals and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts


Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the service leadership team
  • Build and maintain a regular presence with technicians working at customer locations
  • Partner with technical leadership on technician training, skill development, and safety
  • Manage retention, hiring, and succession across the service workforce


Business Performance

  • Own the financial performance of the division, including margin and labor productivity
  • Review operating results monthly and act on variances to plan
  • Report division performance to company leadership
  • Support annual budgeting and staffing plans


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading a service department or multi-site service operation
  • Experience with pricing, staffing, and account decisions, including responsibility for financial results
  • Experience managing field technicians, including personnel working at customer locations
  • Ability to read a profit and loss statement and explain performance in operational terms
  • Credibility with technicians and plant-level customer contacts, with comfort on an active manufacturing floor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Based in the Conroe/North Houston area
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet customer site access and background requirements


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in industrial services, metalworking fluids, machine tool service, lubrication services, or plant services
  • Experience with on-site service contracts, contract staffing, or managed service agreements
  • Experience with field service management, dispatch, or job costing software
  • Experience supporting aerospace or defense manufacturing customers
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or technical discipline
