Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on findings.
  • Administer necessary medications and treatments in compliance with physician guidelines.

  • Provide education and guidance to patients and families concerning trauma recovery and care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and treatment plans.
  • Follow established infection control protocols to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
  • Monitor patients' pain levels, managing discomfort effectively throughout their care journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have sustained trauma, including those from accidents, acute medical emergencies, or critical health situations. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field alongside an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in emergency medicine or trauma care is required.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
