Healthactions Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our Alexandria, Virginia rehabilitation facility. This vital role entails evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients facing functional limitations and disabilities. Work Environment

The role is performed onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Alexandria, Virginia. You will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week, with variable weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Healthactions, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, interprets findings, and design appropriate treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Regularly re-evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring alignment with professional standards and regulations.
  • Deliver treatments, educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, and motivate them to participate in their recovery.
  • Effectively communicate patient status and treatment plans through thorough documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and healthcare providers, to guarantee a seamless continuum of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in leadership activities such as community outreach, continuous quality improvement initiatives, program development, and professional supervision of physical therapy assistants or students.
  • Contribute to our organization's growth by engaging in marketing, cost-containment, and innovative treatment strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients experiencing various musculoskeletal issues, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Your role is crucial in helping them regain independence, improving their quality of life, and facilitating their return to daily activities through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
