POSITION OVERVIEW
The Diversion Hub is a comprehensive, one-stop network dedicated to assisting justice-involved individuals in Oklahoma City by harnessing the power of multiple support agencies through combined and synchronized services. Our goal is to provide life-stabilizing resources while empowering individuals to reduce their encounters with the criminal legal system through enhanced support services, including case management, data integration and coordinated communication under one roof. The Diversion Hub CO-OP Recovery Navigator, or Court Ordered Outpatient Program Recovery Navigator, will provide direct program navigation to clients participating in Oklahoma County CO-OP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The CO-OP Recovery Navigator will focus on supporting the execution of the Diversion Hub's programs and mission. The responsibilities of this role include:
Work closely with Public Defender’s Office on early identification and referral to CO-OP.
Meet CO-OP participants in custody with Assistant Public Defender for Needs Assessment.
Coordinate with the jail for all CO-OP participants to be released with prescriptions for mental health medications and ensure they are filled the same day.
Work with RideCare for transport to treatment appointment.
Attend initial appointment with client to ensure appropriate coordination/scheduling.
Transport client back to Diversion Hub for emergency needs (food stamps, ID, SoonerCare, housing, hygiene, etc).
Coordinate for transportation to follow up appointment(s) with treatment provider.
Provide outreach in the community for continued engagement (shelters, Day Center, etc).
Ongoing liaison and advocate with treatment provider to ensure all needs are met.
Participate fully with CO-OP Treatment Team staffings, act as part of CO-OP team.
Work with CO-OP program to increase engagement and successful participation.
Adhere to agency code of ethics and professional standards including maintaining strict client confidentiality.
Attend all staff development, trainings and meetings as required.
Any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1 to 3+ years of experience in social work, communication, criminal justice, political science or similar human service area.
PRSS Certification preferred
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Clearance of background
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit over long periods of time and be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl climb stairs, lift and or move items of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written. Must be able to manually operate and use a computer. Must be able to clearly hear and understand telephone conversations.

All staff must be comfortable working in a trauma-informed environment and demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment when interacting with this population.
