POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who is looking to exercise their problemsolvingandintellectualcuriosity.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillparticipateinthedevelopment of products throughout the entire cycle, from inception to technical design, and through commercialization.

ESSENTIALDUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design,develop,test,andsupporthardwareandfirmwarefornext-generationmedical diagnostic products.
  • Provideengineeringproductionsupportforexistingmedicaldiagnosticproduct lines.
  • Troubleshootcomplexproductionandfieldissues,performrootcauseanalysis,andimplement corrective actions.
  • Leadorsupportproductverification andvalidationactivitiesrequiredtoqualifyandrelease medical diagnostic devices.
  • Leadthetransitionfromengineeringdevelopmenttoproduction,including creationofdesign documentation, test procedures, and production fixturing.
  • Developandsupportautomatedproductiontesthardwareand software.
  • Collaboratecross-functionallywithmanufacturing,quality,regulatory,andotherengineering teams to ensure continuity of design and requirements.
  • Ensureproductdevelopmentandsustainingactivitiescomplywith IEC,FDA,CE,MDSAP,ISO, and other requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including schematics, drawings, specifications, testprotocols,riskmanagementfiles,engineeringchangeorders,andregulatorysubmissions.
  • Performotherengineering-relatedtasksas required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experiencedesigning,programming,testing,andsupportingmicrocontroller-basedsystems, including hardware and firmware.
  • Strongcircuitdesignandtroubleshooting skills.
  • ProficiencywithPCBlayoutCADtoolssuchasAltium,Allegro,OrCAD,or equivalent.
  • ProficientwithMicrosoftWordand Excel.
  • Strongproblem-solving,analytical,organizational,anddecision-making abilities.
  • Abilitytoworkeffectivelyinateamenvironmentandinteractwithalllevelsofthe organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experienceworkingwithinamanufacturingenvironment includingfamiliaritywithdesignand process controls.
  • Experiencewithdesigningbattery-powereddevicesandworkingwithlow-powerwireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy and WiFi.
  • ExperiencewithIEC60601medicalelectricalequipmentsafety standards.
  • Experiencewithflexiblecircuit design
