The Skills You Bring


Required Skills:



  • Minimum of 5 years of software engineering development experience.

  • Proven hands-on experience working with PHP 8, Node.js, NPM, Angular 17+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, REST APIs, and modern web application development.

  • Proven hands-on experience developing Angular applications using Standalone Components, Signals, and modern control flow syntax.

  • Strong experience maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting legacy PHP applications.

  • Experience modernizing monolithic applications and migrating functionality from PHP-based architectures to Angular and Node.js solutions.

  • Proven experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating application security vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 risks.

  • Experience implementing secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection controls.

  • Experience with relational databases including MySQL.

  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.

  • Proven experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and following Test Driven Development (TDD) principles.



Any combination of the following is a plus:



  • Experience with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

  • Experience modernizing legacy PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter as well as custom-built applications

  • Experience with application security scanning tools such as Mend, CodeQL and SonarQube.

  • Experience performing vulnerability remediation and supporting penetration testing efforts.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized application deployments.

  • Experience with cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.

  • Experience with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and other enterprise identity integrations.
